Chronicle

So guys I watched the new movie, Chronicles.  Don't worry guys I won't ruin anything for you, everything I'll mention you can see in the trailer.  So its about 3 guys who some how obtain the power to move objects with the power of the mind, or Telekinesis.  As you can tell by the trailer, one of the guys go bad and that is where I'll stop.  The movie was entertaining although it had its slow parts.  It also reminded me of Anime in a way, which I heard it compared to Akira and in my opinion a little bit of Elfen Lied.

Jack Black and Angelina Jolie is back with, Kung Fu Panda 2.  The story of Po, the Dragon Warrior, continues as a new challenge awaits him as he must fight off an evil enemy that threatens the life of many as well as Kung Fu itself.  If your looking for a good laugh and a family movie that everyone can enjoy, I would definitely recommend this one.  And seriously! who doesn't love Pandas!?!

Rise of the Planet of the Apes:
Most of us have seen the original Planet of the Apes, but does anyone know how it happened?  Rise of the Planet of the Apes shows us just that.  A science experiment to develop a drug to cure alzheimer disease not only cures the patient, but increases intelligence.  This movie follows the life of a chimp named Ceaser, taken from his loved ones he must rally all the other chimps as they make an escape to freedom.
